Sure it is. With such wonderful poorly-insulated housing, 19.5% of my ridiculously-low salary being deducted as tax, seeing a packet of three peppers cost $5 at the market etc need we say more?
NZ lamb costs more in NZ than it does abroad – and I still can’t believe it! Local produce can be more expensive in NZ than elsewhere…complete madness I tell you.
Scenery is one thing, but when you cannot afford to take a breather – how can you find the time to enjoy it?
